has anyone fitted an uprated walbro fuel pump to their my99/00.did it fit straight in or need any modding.local dealer said they had to bend the brass sender unit..thks

Yep - it's a tight fit. With lots of fiddling it's possible to not have to bend the brass pipe though...just makes getting the hosing over the pipes very tight

When I took mine to the dealer they said they would not bend it as it meant a whole new sender unit - so I did it myelf - just be carefull and slow & you should be fine.
