i want the sound of the WRC car!
#1
ok be gentle...
i dont care about bhp paw psi etc.
all i want is my scooby to sound like the 00 wrc impreza!
especially the sound it does when they on-off the throtle!
is that the BOV or the wastegate discharging to the enviroment?
its hard to explain but we all know that "birds whistle" sound that it makes...
any aftermarket blow off valve that remotelly simulates that sound?
any help please?

Isn't it the anti-lag system that causes the *chirpping*. From what I've heard, it ain't good for your car and will like cause it to go bang.
The BOV will give you the woosh sound on gear changes as it dumps air to the atmosphere.

anti-lag
you can get a Forge Dump Valve with also "chatters" - not as much as the WRC cars - but it isn't going to bugger your turbo up as quickly..

MMMM The poping and banging is the anti lag system but i prefer the older years like when colin 1st drove for subaru because you can here that flat 4 like you can on most subaru`s now days.
If you dont like the flat 4 noise i believe a manifold (headers) seems to loose that note.
