prodrive exhaust

Very much so.
I have a turbo 2000 ppp, when I changed to scoobysport de-cat dp the difference was amazing!
A while later I managed to aquire the scoobysport back box, again good gains
I have an STi centre with res, but will be getting the 'straight through' one.
I dont know the figures for the gains, but some reckon 25-30bhp, and a big 'dollop' of torque
Hope that helps.

Roy,
all you really need is a downpipe as the prodrive exhaust isnt too bad as it is and spending lots of cash on a system that will do exactly the same as the one fitted (and is also the same size) is a waste of money IMHO.
Lots of choices of downpipes though, ranging from Scoobymania, Scoobysport, BPM, Magnex, PE etc.
This will give you the best gains as the top cat strangles the system (so take it off )
Running with a downpipe and the PPP exhaust isnt too bad and has a lovely note from start up, isnt too intrusive and has a meatier sound to it (sounds like it should do from low revs like it does from 4k upwards ) and you will also notice better low down torque with earlier pickup from the turbo.

Tony,
john banks tried my blitz back box and could not believe the difference it made, both by seat of pants and delta dash logs.he has since sold off his prodrive centre and back box changing to magnex stuff and has found this better than the prodrive stuff too.
I used to have magnex stuff myself and did not think the back box had made any difference, unlike when I fitted the blitz.I am hoping that john will try the blitz again to see if he finds it better still.

Is the Blitz stuff blessed by Subaru in terms of warrenty etc ?
I know they give PPP full blessing but not sure 'bout blitz.
If it is significantly better and doesn't screw up MOT emmisions then I might go for that when my xtended warrenty runs out

I have a PPP on my MY00, after reading this thread I am going to change th DP, just wondering will this affect the emissions come MOT time?
Is the Scoobysport the ONE to have?

Err, yup, emissions fail. You won't have any cats...
ScoobySport is A one to have. Seems to give consistent good results, though. Have one myself & have no thoughts of changing it

I agree with Tony. On the cars I've tried with a DP and the std PPP centre and BB perform very well indeed. The DP is just what the PPP is crying out for. If you get a friendly dealer to fit it then I'm sure you'll be OK on the warranty too.
I've tried some cars with different BB's on this set up and there are some gains to be had but at a price - noise! If you want LOUD then get the Blitz, then a tad quieter would be the Scoobysport then the WR oval BB for a nice compromise. Not tried the Magnex or Sebring so can't comment there.
As for the best performance gains on the Blitz set up, then IMHO you would need bigger turbos and FMIC to make the best of them.
Try before you buy.
