Hi all help,
i have oil dripping out the pipe joins from the turbo to the intercooler. Ive cleaned it up and went for a run when i got back it still dripping fresh oil out.
Ive checked to see that the jubilee clips are tight, there doesnt appear to be any cracks in the pipes either. The engine oil level is not over filled and i dont know what to do now.the two pipes its leaking from are 1 the one from the turbo 2 the one to the intercooler as far as i know they can contain a small amount of oil, but this is every time i drive the car. The car also smells of fumes, but there is no smoke.
Help Thanks Justin

Is it ACTUALLY coming from the pipe between the turbo / intercooler, or is it running down the ouitside from somewhere else?
If oil is actually coming out of the pipe between your intercooler and your turbo I would (in my ignorance) take it straight to a dealer, as anything more than a slight coating of oil inside the pipes from re-breathing is IMHO a pretty bad sign.
This is only speculation, and anyone who knows more than me is welcome to correct me.
But seeing as no one else is answering.....

Well...again...I don't really know, but I would check your oil level everytime you drive it, and get your turbo looked at ASAP.
There are only two ways I can think of that oil can get into the air intake: One is the re-breathing stuff (which all comes thru a swirl-pot and so should only contain a small amount of atmoized oil that ends up on the inside of your intake pipes) and a bunch of oil that is in your turbo for the shaft to spin in.
From what you say, it sounds like a considerable amount (tablespoonful or more) of oil is 'appearing', so I would get your turbo checked. Soon.
Maybe I am being paranoid....but better to be safe than sorry, right?
