September issue of Car magazine has an article on buying a secondhand Forester and I quote :
"On a cold start-up the clutch may judder, and this again can be traced to the plugs, and the brake pads can wear quickly."
Is this complete rubbish? Sounds like it to me.

My dealer gave me that ol speel!
But after new plugs were fitted in has got better - apparently when cold, shot plugs can give a slight misfire which can reslut on clutch judder.
It worked on my Turbo Impreza.
