mobile 1 is there a better alternative

I have been using mobile 1 in my legacy turbo. It is the best oil i have used so far in making the tappets quiet.But seems to only last around 2300 miles before tapping graduley comes back is there a better oil.thanks in advance of any replies.

I take it you mean Mobil1 Motorsport 15w50 and not the 0w40? 
If your using the 0w40 then its too thin for a turbo engine and will do more harm than good
As for other oils to use.... Motul 300V 15w50 (available from ScoobyMania
) or Castrol 10w60 (available from Mellow in the for sale section at the moment )
