Question

All

Apologies if I've posted similar posts, but I just want an honest opinion, that's all.

Replaced the std BB with a ProDrive BB on my MY99 'wagon' 3 weeks ago. Fitted by a garage and looks a good job. I'm happy with the noise, but I'm sure the Sccob is down on power.

The car feels like it's lost that 'mad acceleration' feeling. Maybe it's the fact I can hear the 'thud thud' now and not the turbo anymore.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Wink

No one ever admits to losing power on here with new mods

It's probably a perceptual thing, you should have done before and after RR tests or timings to be sure.

Thanks Floyd

I'm tempted to get a RR session done with the ProDrive BB and then the OEM BB .... just to put my mind at rest.

As you say, it probably is a "perceptual thing". I'm blaming the noise
