Any body fitted or got info on the above induction kits?
I was just about to get a Blitz filter whan I spotted these in the SIDC mag.
Seems like a good deal to me......£85 for a stainless steel filer

I had one fitted to my car until i sold it (the car that is). Dont know about fitment cos it was fitted for me at quikshift but seemed simple. Its made from the exact same stuff as the blitz filters so theres no probs quality wise and noise it gives is awesome.

Wink

I've got a Stainless Steel filter from halfords (made by Pipercross). Fitting Kit was lousy as it was designed for pre 97 but marketed for MY97

Anyway, halfords ordered a new one for MY98 > and the bracket etc seems more like it Just need to fit the bracket now

Heard far too many probs with the halfords filters. Apparently the mesh keeps falling apart from the end plates and the filters fall off! The guy in halfords actually told me not to buy one cos of similar probs, quite strange really.

Didn't know Pipercross did stainless filters.

Do you not mean the coarse mesh keeping the foam in place?

The Quikshift stainless mesh is the actual filter material. I have one fitted to my car for a good price of course because we sell them Thanks Adam!

I've championed the Quikshift filters since I met the guys at Max Power last year. I think its a great product and got them to develop kits for the Mitsubishi FTO.

Yeah pipercross make stainless filters only they wont put their name on it. What you buy is a blank white carton with no name on the box or on the instructions or nothing. Prices arent that cheap either.

Have on fitted on my MY94 UK Turbo, Only difference to the blitz is the filter length, Quickshift one is longer, Induction roar is good, Managed to frigthen a couple the other day with the roar. (not on purpose must add).

The stainless ones tend to be less 'muffled', letting higher frequencies through. On my car you can hear the dump valve working away - sounds like a quiet vent to atmosphere dump valve. Certainly sounds good when you're gunning it.
