If the car is ok you can leave it. The blue one will give you more of a whoosh and more pops and bangs, the red is more chatter like. Idle problems have been known with the reds though so the blue is used to fix that. If you have no idle issues then its personal preference!

Ta, I will give the blue one a try, but think ill end up with the red unless there is minimal difference.

Question

I got my DV a couple of weeks ago and it came with a red spring fitted and a blue spring in the package. Knowing the red one is supposed to be too stiff, I unbolted it and thought I replaced it with the blue one.

Just rifling through my spares bits and found the blue one! I'd obviously got them mixed up (re-fitted it twice).

Thing is it seems to be working fine with the red spring, short air release at half to full boost and you can just hear it below this. Get the odd pop and bang at low RMP on throttle release too. Shall I try the blue one or is it ok?
