I have a Scoobysport backbox and am looking to decat the rest of the system. Magnex (and JW racing bits) seem cheap, but are they any good? I would be looking to buy the downpipe, which as far as I can tell also comes with a section to remove the third cat and an up-pipe. However, am I correct in thinking that Magnex do not do a section to replace the resonator as their back box is longer than standard and also replaces this section.

Any feedback would be welcome.

Steve my centre pipe is magnex. OK i've modified it a bit but the original quality was very good. I've had them on other cars and have always thought they are good VFM.

I have just bought a JW Racing Magnex back box and it is excellent.

A mate has just bought a Magnex down pipe and centre section from JW Racing and that is equally as good.

I've got a Magnex backbox on my MY02 and a Scoobysport centre section (2 piece). The Magnex backbox is exactly the same size and fitting as the standard system (and Scoobysport etc).
I understand that an extra bit of pipe work to remove whatever can be bought from the likes of JW Racing but never worked out what it removed etc. So I took the easy option and bought a second hand scoobysport centre section from the for sale section
