I'm thinking of fitting a de-cat DP to my 98MY UK turbo. I've already de-cat'd centre and have TSL Backbox.
Talking to DeanF, he had fuel cut out probs and so fitted a Dawes.
Dean has a 94MY, so has anyone any view of whether this will be a prob on my 98 ?
I've currently no Dawes or Boost Gauge of any kind....
Also, if these are fitted, how does that stop the problem, or is it a matter of driving with one eye on the gauge and backing off at a certain reading (!?) - Stupid Q I know, but ....
TA,
Mark

I have a UK MY98 with GGR induction kit, TSL d/p, scorpion bb and centre cat replacement, no problems thus far (after 1 year of running this setup). Was up at a rolling road day on Sunday, and the power/torque/boost curves were very smooth

Cheers for the info - I was at TSL today and they seemed to think it would be no prob - BUT they hadn't got any !(DOH!)
To be fair, I went to have upgraded brakes fitted, which they did with their usual swift and professional manner. Seems OK so far, but only 70 miles into bed in, so cant try them (YET)
I may give them a ring tomorrow and book in.....
maybe, maybe....
