Remove cone, remove dv, remove PPP chip and sell for £400 ish

Buy a dawes and a tek 2 ECU for £600 and you will have a safe 280 bhp.

Oops, didn't notice the year of the car

My old 96 made 260 with a full decat and cone filter. Has a bigger turbo than the 97> so responds better to mods

Other than the ECUTEK, there are other chips available, but they are more pricey. DONT get a superchip.

Get a Scooby Ecu..god investment for the money you spend.
I just had a friend fit one to his MY95..and it works really nice

He is very happy with it.., if your in UK you can get some more live help with the mapping.. I think...

Cheers

jees has anyone answered your question yet !!!??? lolol
i got a my99 scooby, with ppp, magnex st8 through decat centre, ggr sports cat downpipe AND yup dawes. apparently the ppp ecu cut point is well beyond 18psi my dawes is set at 16.5 psi which gives me a bit more than the ppp around 15.7 psi plus there is plenty of room for the ppp ecu to cut if it spikes etc, i think also that the j banks was running a ppp with dawes before he went ecutek?!!
hope that helps
paul
ps never spiked, overboosted as yet

Wink

i never looked into the bhp figures themselves, the turbo picks up faster at less revs, so that gives you more acceleration
bhp ??? dont know but it feels a hell of allot faster

second had a quickshift fitted
third had eibachs put on
fourth had a ggr sports cat downpipe put on and a magnex st8 through centre
finally got the dawes

Email or call me and I can talk prices, but I am the sole importer of Dawes devices in Europe so I can fit and supply whatever you require.

Hey you guys, a Dawes device is great for the money. Believe me, I had two from Jamie for two different cars I owned. They seems to work better with the older car, from what I've seen. Make sure you get a AFM though.....For safety sake

Cheers Phill C

PS No connection with Jamie, just bought a few things from him and had an excellent service
