yup, god how many threads did i post on it??? lost count..
well i got a my99 scooby wagon, ppp'd, dawes, magnex st8 through centre, prodrive back box, ggr sports cat downpipe. passed its mot on just the sports cat, lovely sound and a couple of weeks into the ggr it still feels really really responsive to drive, definitely feels much quicker on acceleration, still putting a big daft grin on me chops ! ggr downpipe bit pricey and most say 1-2bhp down on a decat, but its LEGAL, PASSES mot's and theres no p i s s i n g about changing centre sections etc and worrying about a spot emissions test of the plods.
Got it fitted by a scooby specialist garage along with the centre, cost £105 fitting, and took em bout three hours, NO heating, NO hammering, nice clean fit, has a lovely sound on hard acceleration sort of a windy whistle , very faint but nice.......hope that helps
paul,
keep us informed if you go for it

Sorry to hijack the thread .... you say you have a prodrive BB?
Is this the PPP or WR sport one? You may have seen my 'Exhaustive Research' thread, I am trying to quantify the noise levels of a prodrive BB with a decat DP.
Have you heard any other BB's and how does your's compare, what is it like at 3.5K on motorway, droney or not really noticeable?
Doofus.

Is the ppp one, as far as noise levels go, well i had a scoobysport before and it was a bit to full on all the time for me, too boomy, made me scooby sound a bit of a tank. the ppp back box is perfect for me, rumbly but quiet on normal driving, BUT.. open her up and the exhaust note is like no other, once you hit 5k revs plus it gets this really racing car sound...gr8
