I ran the same set up as Kenny. I never had a problem with reliability due to it. Fuel consumption wasn't bad, but it's not exactly a diesel is it?
OK, there are a few horror stories about them, but get someone who knows what they're doing to fit it, and it will be a-ok

juliano- had a superchip in my previous my97 uk turbo, it accelerated much more than standard along with a s/s exhaust and de-cat.
The turbo with just the exhaust and de-cat had 240 ish bhp, with the superchip (boost at 15.5 psi) I had 258bhp. only had it for 8 months on the car then sold it.....so reliability wise it ran fine in the time that I owned it.........also mpg was up from 280miles on a full tank to 310miles..........don't know if thats a good thing.
