Boost Reading Question

Have Just fitted Air/fuel Guage & boost 0-25 + & -
Am running HKS boost controller 0.9 & 1.2
Needle at minus poodling about but at 1.2 if I boot it goes to 20 +
Sorry I am not more Tech but what should I be looking For

Do I need a larger reading Guage ; what is 1.2 in lb ??

Not quite sure what you mean, if your boost gauge reads 20 psi ,that is equivalent to 1.36 bar. If the boost gauge reads 20 psi then the boost controller is allowing overboosting and I would have thought you should have had fuel cut. So either the HKS is allowing too high a boost or the boost gauge is reading incorrectly. 1.2 bar is equivalent to 17.64 psi. I have no experience of the HKS boost controller though.

Divide PSI by 14.5 to get BAR.
Multiply BAR by 14.5 to get PSI.
