I am looking for an equivalent of the Subaru boost control hose. ID of the Subaru stuff is 4mm, OD is about 7mm.
Is it made of rubber? Can't seem to get this size in rubber from RS or my pneumatics supplier. What material is most suitable? I am considering that I am dealing with compressor outlet temperatures which may well be quite high

I just recently got a 1M length from Halfords for around £5 It was called fuel injector return hose (for diesels) 4mm bore rubber with light braiding on the outside. It gets toasty hot along the injectors so I think it would be good for boost lines.

I replaced the boost hose on mine with decent sandwiched fibre fuel hose when I got my car.. can't stand the standard stuff
Edited to say, this is the exact stuff I use here

I found that the pipe that came with my boost gauge didn't last a week, then I re-routed it, and it lasted two weeks,
Now I have fuel hose, and I get very nearly -1bar on the overrun, so it must be beefier than any of the other crap!

Ive always use aither small fuel hose, or windscreen washer tubing. never had any problems yet.
OE windscreen washer tubing tends to be quite soft, but most aftermarket types available at any motor factors is usually much thicker, and better suited.
