Question

Is the hybrid dump valve the answer to the long debated problem between VTA and RECIRC?

Cool

Not sure on the technicalities but I recently fitted an APS twin dump DV which works on the same principles as the GFB Hybrid in that it recirculates to a certain point and the vents to atmosphere.

Seems to work well, no idle issues and it gives the noise I wanted - it can be adjusted to allow it to VTA at different points depending on boost, personal preference etc. I guess perhaps the drawback is that as some is always recirculated the BOV noise is probably not as loud as a pure VTA.
