Got my first MOT next week on the P1, at the moment have Haywood/Scott downpipe and Scorpion centre and back box. All decatted.

I think the sound of it is too loud and now find it a little irritating - I am thinking of going back to the original STI that came with the P1 as std (would I lose a noticeable amount of power - not sure!).

Any advice on whether this is a bad idea or combinations of the exhaust to reduce noise (mainly annoying on motorways).

If its not a "friendly" MOT station doing this, you'll have to stick a cat back on to pass

Wink

You may find that the car doesn't go aswell with the STi backbox on as this has baffles, where as the H&S system is straight through.

Speak to Ian on 01268 727256 as he will be able to make the backbox quieter - though there are cost implications
