Spent last night wrapping 10m of CoolTek Exhaust Heatwrap around the downpipe, in an effort to stop it sounding so tinny (which was most noticable when the Downpipe was stone cold).

This has helped quite a bit, but it still has a tinny ring to it.

Most of the noise seems to be coming from the bend at the bottom. So I assume the forming process may cause the stainless to be stretched and become thinner at this point.

I am assuming that another layer or Wrap will sort it out. But what are other peeps experiences of this.

If I do need more, anyone know where I can get it where I won't have to pay another £7.00 postage (http://proven-products.co.uk)
