im still stumped on my car about a few bits...

firstly, on an MY93 a section of the loom comes out the bulkhead and over the gearbox. i need to know what these wires di. i unerstand the singlewire is the crank position sensor. i also need to know where the cam position sensor is, and where the other two plugs go. someone mentione the knock sensor but both plugs are 3 pin style...

Also, below the ICV there is a small solonoid, joining onto the charcoal canister. what does this do? and where is it on a WRX (i have an STi engine in a WRX)

the solenoid is the purge control solenoid for venting the fuel tank via the charcol filter, you should have had one under the manifold on the drivers side on your original engine, so look for a spare connector in your original loom.

Could that be the third conector from the bulkhead loom?
