PPP upgrade decibel levels

Would anyone comment on whether a PPP upgrade (engine management and exhaust) makes a difference to the general noise levels when cruising on the motorway? I like the idea of the extra power and noise in short bursts but not if the long hours we spend travelling at constant high speed will make it noisier at that time. Thanks for any short reply

Hi,
I have a Magnex Back box - similar to the noise levels of a Prodrive one - which gives a nice sound under acceleration but is quiet enough to put up with on the M way.
My only advise is - DO IT - you won't regret it.

Simon,I have PPP on my MY02 and yes it is noisier. It's the sound the car should have had in the first place. Motorway driving is fine you tend to leave most of the sound behind. What I did notice was when I had my service done and they brought the car back I thought bloody hell that sounds a beast and it was mine!!!
Not sure if in the same position again I would go down the same route(now considering TEK3/full decat) but it is warranty friendly.

I was concerned about the increased noise levels, but went for it. Not much noisier on the motorway, just place your order now!
