'99 STI 5....
New problem, not seen this before and it's really annoying me...
Have always used NGK PRF7B's in the car since day one of ownership.
Changed to HKS plugs about 3 weeks ago, since the weekend one of the plug leads keeps popping off the plug (Don't know which number off the top of my head, its the one next to the washer bottle), the lead doesn't seem to 'click' onto the plug like the others do, anyone had this prob?
Am thinking either a new set of plugs or a new lead obviously, took the plug out last night and it doesnt seem to be damaged in any way which is very weird...
Any ideas?

Try looking into the end of the lead, there will be a round clip type thing which springs onto the top of the plug, try squeezzing it with a pair of long nose pliers, that should fix it!

I know a guy who always tests the "quality" of the spark on his motorbike (old Jap 2-stroke with points ignition and factory original crappy coils) by sticking his little finger on the exposed end of the HT lead and his thumb on the motor.
Reckons he can "feel" if the points are dirty, need gapping etc this way.
Best not try it on a modern motor with direct ignition, though
