Question

David/Andy F - what boost pressures were you running to achieve these figures and was this on standard injectors and fuel pump?

Cheers

I was running much more boost than I am now !! Around 1.7 bar IIRC
using a chargecooler, std injectors with 2 extra injectors in the plenum chamber and an uprated fuel pump and regulator.

I was supposed to be running 22psi but dont think I ever managed more than 20psi on rollers..

it would have been more boost given time..

edited to add..

andy runs less boost now as he turned into a ***** when he had to open the engine up

(mine was using 4x 550cc's at unknown pressure .. just mapped around it. :O )

Question

Does anyone know where I can obtain a set of 440cc or 550cc injectors for a MY96 (I think it has phase 1 fuel rails (STD))

Cheers

Delboy

I have just purchased a set for a MY96 from scoobymania (www.scoobymania.co.uk). They are £110 + VAT each so works out to be about £520 including VAT for the set. They are also a direct replacment for the standard ones and come with everything needed to fit them.

I hope this helps

Gavin

Edited to say they were 550cc injectors.
