I have just investe in a '97 Legacy GT B Wagon and as a newcomer to Japanese imports I am having dificulty getting any sensible advice. What can I safely do to increase the power from my standard engine without modifying the internals. What is the highest bhp it will accept in standard form.
Please can anyone help.
Thanks
Leslie.

Thumbs up

congrats on the buy.

you'll be wanting to join the yahoo group "legacyb4" where lots of TT owners share their knowledge.

they are 280ps out of the box, so you'll be wanting to feed it nice juice to get the best out of it.

good oil, changed very regularly is a must, too.

anyway, join the group, plenty of people will be around to help (and the sensible ones will tell you the TTs are tough to get more power out of, they are already putting out a fair bit).

cheers
