Question

I have a bit of Proboost to get through before I can get some NF race. Question is, should I use it with Super unleaded or Optimax. If Super, which brand is considered the best? I've heard it can cause probs. with Optimax but don't know if its true. I thought it was causing more det when I used the first 1/2 can but I think a faulty lambda was to blame.

Cheers,

Pete

I have heard it can mix with certain additives in some petrols and cause detrimental effects on RON. Not sure how much of this is true though.
I have tried a few brands so far, just trying them all out.

More RON the better -if it's an import (100 ron) .
If uk it should run ok on quality UL 97 98 ron

I wouldn't put anything else other than Optimax in
it's worth the extra, isn't it?

Concerning the Octane booster, as with everthing, people get
a brand they like and stay with it. I use Pro Boost but have used
others in past.

This warm weather won't help- only on your tan!

Unhappy

MAD,
I run Optimax + millers (bottle per tank) or Esso super + NF(75mls per tank)
IMHO, my STi5 runs like sh1te on Opti+NF!

Proboost and Optimax it is then..............the car is a UK but was mapped on Optimax so I figure give a couple more RON and keep it safe!
