Question

I had a piston melt down on my wrx sti. I am just about to get it fixed, but I am worried about it happening again afterwards.

Is it possible to make sure it doesn't, how can things be changed, and what must be done.

Will re-mapping the ecu stop the problem, as I here it is a common fault.

If anybody could help me on this subject I would be most greatfull.

TIA

Cheers

Adam

Would be interesting to hook up a mixture gauge to her and see if she's running lean... Might need a remap or some tweaking...
