just been given an ecotec wiget, FREE ive done a search, but came up blank with this queation, where on the early impreza, ie, my 94 do you actually fit the ecotec , can any one help

I wouldnt unless you want you turbocharged car running lean - which is VERY bad.

i know i know i want to try it my self, so you all recon its pants thats ok, but i want to find out my self, peeps are all good at giving their 2 penny woth but i want to try it, if you can tell me where on the early inprezas to fit it please please please ,

It goes on the pipe from the manifold to the brake servo...

You are not wise to fit it, and i am always up for telling people not to scare monger.... I have just removed one from an engine that is in peices, if anyone else wants to F*ck their car up let me know... tehy can have it for nothing..

I dont recon its 'pants' I KNOW it leans down the mixture - hence the more power and less fuel BUT this is totally the opposite of what you need on a Turbo charged vehicle, if you run lean the engine may detonate and then expire prematurely. It would be very stupid to fit this on a turbo charged car so DONT DO IT!!

well i know its ment to go on that pipe, but if you look on the impreza, and ecoteks site they explain why it cant be fitted on such a pipe on the impreza, they only have a pic of it fitted to the later type of impreza, shesh ****in hell is it too hard to ask forget it ,
