About a month ago the Check Engine light came on periodicly on my 93 WRX. The error code was 45, Pressure Sensor and Pressure exchange solenoid valve. I spoke to Pete at Scoobysport and a replacement solenoid valve was acquired. This seemed to sort out the problem.
Today the problem has returned. Does anyone know why these valves seem to pack up so easily? It seems to be a fairly common problem. Are there any ways of checking the valve to see if it is not working properly?
Could it be a wiring problem? I've had a fiddle with the loom and can't seem to see any change in things.
Any help greatly appreciated,
MarkF

Oh dear, not much response to this. Can anyone reccomend a reputable place near to Cumbria who can do a diagnostics check and repair any problems found?
