Panel replacement filters & noise

Everyone seems to agree that an induction filter increases the noise conciderably. As I may not be ready to have a VERY noisy car, I want to know if a replacement panel filter will increase noise a bit. (I have already removed the resonator box)
A bit of extra induction noise is always welcome.
