Question

Hi

A friend of mine is about to replace his clutch on a MY98 UK Turbo. Is there an alternative to the standard Subaru item (I'm aware this may affect the warranty). What about power upgrades? Are there recommendations for stronger clutches?

All comments welcome. Cheers Chris

When my clutch went on my MY98, I upgraded it for an AP one from Scoobymania.
Not cheap, at £350 plus fitting, but worth every penny!
As far as warranties go, I've had a new gearbox fitted since changing the clutch, no problem.
I guess it depends on the dealer.

What about an STi clutch, good for 280bhp and I think only about 50ukp more.

Just a thought...

I use a Helix Autosport system and its very good. Its also cheaper than an AP system.
Give them a call at 01869 340 005 ask for Terry & tell him Keverne from Trinidad refered you.

Cheers
