Dump Valve vs. Warranty????
#1
This is probably a question which has been asked hundreds of times, but I just wanted some current opinions on what I should do.
I recently took delivery of my00 scooby, and I'm debating whether or not to fit a dump valve. The only hesitation I have is whether or not fitting one is likely to affect my warranty - does anyone know for sure?
Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

You've actually already got a more than capable dump valve in your scoob.
An externally venting BOV will upset fuel/air mixture, and at best only wreak havoc on the mpg.
Check with your dealer if they'll overlook an induction kit, the only "safe" way to get some of the venting sounds.
Induction kits have caused MAF (air flow sensor) failure, which is a couple of hundreds to fix. Mainly due to bad fittings.
