Question

hi guys...... & gals

ive just got a 93 wrx and was wondering what mods i could do 2 it ?
it will need de-restricting and the clocks changing i think...!!!
i am currently running it on UL and wondered if i would need to do a ECU reset to compensate this ???

also how hard is it to change the full exhaust sysytem ?? from the back of turbo down..!

i have had a dump valve fitted and a ITB through air filter.!

any links and info will b greatly appreciated

thanxs

DON'T RUN ON UL!!! you must use super or you'll get det problems. as for mods depends on the cash and what you want to achieve. pumpers.

Rich,
It had a ScoobySport backbox before I sold it - I took it off......sorry mate and sold it separately. You should be able to get one secondhand on this BBS (25year guarantee)

Oh, and it was the db's - makes a HUGE difference in every way (least of all aurally)

dave, not too technically minded unfortunately. i've got a my93 wrx which puts out 250bhp at the last rolling road day. worth going to one to find out. my mods are a hks air filter, fujishbo back box (came with the car and will be changed soon!! - thinking of scorpion but want to go the whole hog and have it decatted at the same time. still undecided which exhaust) personally i want the brakes/ suspension sorted before i go for more power. i've uprated the pads and fluid but still get serious fade on a good run. going to try four pots next i think but it depends on the budget!! as for suspension alk fitted- huge difference!! want mrt sway bars front and rear, strut brace bilstein shocks and eibach springs. once i've saved the pennies for these then i'll consider more power. after the exhaust of course!! my first choice power wise would be a possum link but it depends on your budget. don't forget, always use sul and think about using octane booster or have the broquet fuel catalyst fitted ( mine has) . at the end of the day it depends what your trying to achieve. ( and always use a good tuner!!!!! ) pumpers.

sorry forgot about the derestricted bit!! most places will sort it for you expect to pay around 150. if your a bit mechanical you can do it yourself to save a few bob. falkland performance do a kit for about 60 pounds i think. there's also somewhere that will give you a certificate to verify your km mileage before conversion if you want but can't remember where. do search and i'm sure you'll find it. pumpers.

yeah, i rang the broquet guy up 2day and he quoted me £120 or there abouts for the stuff u drop in ur tank

what does this exactly do ?
i need my rear suspension bushed changing cos they are knocking like fu*# may just get a full all round suspension change, but i have some german adjustable shokers on at the mo and i recon since day 1 they were set on the hardest level and i think its this that has done away with the bushes, my friend has a full set off a uk p-reg car, do u know if they will fit straight on mine ????

thanxs again
