Question

Hi all,

There seems to be a little problem with my clutch/pedal. 50% of the time it's nice and light and the rest it feels stiffer to depress

JoeyDeacon has told me he has the same problem and when he gives it a quick thrash through a couple of gears it cures it for a while. It cures mine for a while too.

Any ideas? Contaminated fluid?

It does not seem to be temperature dependant as it happens when cold as well as hot but why should blasting through 2nd and 3rd cure it temporarily???

Scotty.

Unhappy

I can confirm mine does exactly the same thing and can also be fixed for a while by taking the car for a little thrash.

It's only after a quick thrash that I realise how stiff the pedal is as after that it requires much less effort to operate.

I did promise to ask the dealer when I took the car in for a service last week but when I got the bill I just wanted to get out as quickly as possible amnd forgot to ask (Sorry!)

Thanks Joey, for not asking I mean

BIG bill then? I'll ask around and let you know if I come up with anything.

Scotty.
