Question

I'm shortly going to be replacing the turbo in my car.

I expect this is as good time to change the up-pipe as any.

But..
What should i go for ??
It's a 98 uk turbo, with soon to be VF34.

Thanks
Johnny

When I fitted my TD05 I also fitted a H&S 2" solid uppipe and have had no problems in 6 months.

I also ported the turbo inlet to match the uppipe.

I recently fitted a Graham Goode up-pipe. Excellent fit and nicely made. Noticeable gains on spool up. Cheaper than the others as well!

I fitted a slip joint type up-pipe from Lateral, cost less than £180. Then i ported the cast exhaust manifold & the inlet of the turbo were it joins the up-pipe. Just remember you will need the threaded studs too, 5 in all. Subaru charge £6 for each stud from what I can remember, lucky for me the guy forgot to order them, ended up trying Halfords who gave me them free.
