HKS down pipe comments

Does any one care to comment on the power performance of the HKS down pipe compared to others available.
There has been post recently saying this mod will will increase the noise of the exhaust. At present I have a magnex back box, can anyone comment on this or someone local to Falkirk do you have this set up?
