The usual steady tickover of 700 rpm has changed in last week to barely 550 rpm, but it never stalls.
It is worse after a hard run or being on the road for a couple of hours.
No faults are showing up on the DIY fault code check so where do I try next?

Could be a vacuum leak around the inlet manifold. Check all of the rubber hoses for condition, I had the same problem a month back on my 94 WRX.
