Can I remove the mid and pass an MOT??
#1
If I remove my mid section cat, will the downpipe cat be sufficient to pass the MOT emission test? Is it true that it will only pass with the front cat if its tested when its at full temperature?
Also, how easy is this fit remove/fit?
I've got acess to a garage pit so will be able to get under the car no probs.
Will it change the exhaust volume, i've gota scoobysport back box.

your car will pass an MOT with just the front cat (if it's in good condition). It's the centre cat that needs warming up. The front downpipe cat, is the cold start cat, so you will have no issues.
I think the centre pipe is only held on with a few bolts, and is straight forward to fit.
I think you will notice a change in the exhaust note, but not as much as if you changed the downpipe!!
Hope this helps
