while im waiting for the PPP for my MY01 i thought i might get a replacement panel filter (ITG or similar). i dont want to do to much to the car before preodrive have finished with it.

does a new filter make much difference to performance though??

also does any have experience of using a ss backbox on a ppp car? apart from the sound does it improve it?

Used a K&N panel filter in my Puma. The claim is that it will stay clearer for longer than a paper filter so long term, the benifits are there.

Also as it's a wet filter, the mesh size can be greater as the dampnes acts as a screen.

I'm repeating parrot fashion what I was told so stand to be corrected.

Don't know about upgrading, but I just had my filter changed for another standard one (it was black 3.5k after service!!) and the car goes like a rocket now.

Having only owned a scoob for 3 weeks now, can you tell me what the PPP actually consists of?
I hear alot of peeps talking about it, also how much does it cost?

I think your car has to be "factory standard" for it to have the PPP fitted to it, ie no modifcations what so ever! that includes air filters etc.
As for what it consists of, well pre MY01, it consisted of prodrive back box, uprated intercooler piping and the prodrive chip, second cat was removed too.
