Question

I have had fuel cut before when running higher boost pressure , but had some serious cut today.

In third gear hard acceleration engine died for at least 10 seconds, check engine light flashed along with a warning light at bottom of dash (warning light was rectangluar shaped with two outlets) is this to advise over heating ?

When I have had fuel cut previously, check engine light didn't come on and neither did the other light .

Any clues what this other light means in conjunction with check engine ?

Is it just standard fuel cut symptons ?

Car appears to be fine afterwards.

Help appreciated
