Blitz Filters - The Definitive answer?
#1
Just bought a shiny Blitz SUS filter for my 99MY UK RB5 Prodrive. (Shiny, shiny, precious...)
Could anybody with actual first hand experience of the Blitz/99MY combo please tell me how they got on.
Initially, I was worried by the filtration qualities (150 micron rating, apparently, as opposed to something like 10 micron for the ITG panel) but now the main concern is damage to the air flow sensor.
If the sensor blows out what is the effect on the car? Is there a limp-home mode? How much is a new sensor from a UK dealer?
Cheers,
Mike.

MAF £260 (ish)
Yes, it will affect your warranty unless you have a very kind dealer - Be warned IM are wise to the swap it for the old airbox after the Maf goes routine. difficult to prove i suppose - how are you at lying?
Please have a look at the Induction Kit thread and link i posted
I am no expert (far from it) just did a bit of research on here and with my Dealership.
