Mixing octane boosters
#1
Does anybody know whether I can mix Millers and NF octane boosters.
Millers is reasonably priced and the bottle is an excellent shape but having tried the NF product it appears that(in my car)one third of a bottle of NF has more effect than one bottle of Millers. Being a simple soul I like the concept of one bottle of booster each time I fill up. As I don't want to be standing on a forecourt measuring out NF and NF is much more expensive I'm wondering if I could mix up some bottles?

Hi Obi,
I wouldn't recommend it.
We have another shipment coming over next week - the one following that will have the normal sized bottles mixed with 1 shot per tank bottles.
This is around 6 weeks away though.
Cheers

I would think it depends on the chemical content of the two types - there may be a reaction if the chemical components are not the same. Check the 'ingredients' if they do not match then it is probably wise not to, it may be worth running a tank of SUL free from O/B's between types to 'flush' the system.
This is not gospel just what passes for MHO.
