How difficult is it to check the valve timing is correct

How difficult is it to check the valve timing is correct anyone know is it a long job

You would need to remove the rad fans, auxiliary drive belts, crank pulley and then the timing covers. Then just line up the 5 timing marks. I think the belt can be out by upto 7 teeth before damage occurs.

The only other way to change valve timing is different profile cams, so the heads would have to come off for that.

Why do you want to check, do you have a problem?
