From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
Should I say %$%^ it and stick a quickshift gear leaver in my car whilst I have the box out or should I take the existing lever and chisel / grind the existing bracket of and weld it 20mm higher?

Hi
For the sake of sixty quid give Jap innovations a call 0161-652-0920. They send out fitting instructions too. Mine fits great, I'd advise anyone to get one. Also saves on transmission wear as you keep the engine on boost.
Mark.

I've recently acquired a cheap Prodrive quick shift which I beleive retails around 200 quid. It is a lot better than standard, but I wish it was a little shorter throw than it is. I believe most other after market ones are a shorter throw, but they are just the stick. With Prodrives kit you get all the linkage bars as well, but they are exactly the same as standard. I didn't need them either considering my car wasn't even a year old.
But the answer to your question is, "yes" well worth getting!
