My my97WRX has an intermittant boost problem, and I would like to clean the boost control solenoid, but under the dash board where the black connectors are for running the fan/solenoid sequence, there are 5 loose black connectors!. The only "pair" have one wire and connector each are these the ones or do I have to dig deeper to find one of the others counterpart?

There should only be one matching male/female pair Can't remember exactly, but I *think* it's a two wire connector....even if there's only one wire connected. On a Euro my99 & 00....

The Black connectors to use are the single wire one. The connections are standard spade terminals in a plastic shroud.
The other black connectors are multi terminal and are not to be connected.
If you want to do an ECU reset you will also need to connect the green ones, which are in the same place.

Yes, I've got a (single) small multi-black one also.
Not to be confused with the two single spade read-diag connectors.
Anyone know what the small back multi one is for ?
Not to be confused with the bigger multi one which is for the select monitor
(can't remember its colour, either white or green)
