Unhappy

I am occasionally having trouble starting my 92 Legacy turbo saloon.

I start it as usual but instead of firing up I hear a loud click and thats it!

After repeating this process (sometimes 4 or 5 times) it starts up but it is beginning to worry me!

Does anyone have any idea what is causing this?

Thanks in advance,
Pete.

Sounds like the starter soleniod, or at least the starter motor. I have had this also with a poor earthing and main wires to the starter motor (not enough current getting to the starter)
