After reading on the U.S. Board about people using Manual Boost Controllers, I decided to get one to see if I can improve the boost curve on my car.

Boost is set at 15psi on my MY94 WRX (slightly lower than before) and I have to say initial impressions are very good - the boost curve seems to climb much "steeper" and boost levels are very stable.

Driveability from the changed boost curve seems to be much better also.

The Link ECU continues to control fuelling etc and I will be visiting Bob in the near future for some tweaking due to changes I have made since the original map.

One of my friends has also installed one (with lower boost levels as his MY94 car is running with a JECS and top-mount IC) and it also seems to work well.

Maybe worthy of consideration depending on your goals ?
