In a moment of madness I bought the August edition of "Car Mechanics" mag.....I promise you it wasn't the picture of the Rover on the front cover that tempted me, honest

Anyway..the point...it says that the September 2001 edition will have a "Subaru flat four engine clinic" which may be useful to some of us here....

And no, I don't work for them

Will have to pop into smith and check it out.

Could be one better, Max Power looking at the flat 4.

The mag is now out and has a strip down showing cam & head removal, and separation of crankcase halves & removal of pistons and crankshaft etc.

The info is supplied by Subaru Manchester, which adds credibility.

It's worth buying in my opinion, if you ever anticipate doing a rebuild yourself.

Cheers
