I went to the local toyota dealer today in mind of p/x the scoob for a new landcruiser and got the shock of my life when he gave me the p/x value for my car.
My car is a X plate 2000 wrx impreza ( new UK model )8500 miles in silver, morette light conversion and full scoobysport zaust and colour coded sills, Against a landcruiser at just under £32,000, p/x price £15225 !!! AND HE SAID THATS A GOOD DEAL!
This cant be right can it ?? I'm sure he gave me p/x price for old model or is he right?

I'm afraid the price is about right. I saw a posting from Stevie last week saying he was only offered £14500 for a 2001 Y reg WRX with 18k on it. Prices are well and truely on the floor.
I have just bought a UK 2000MY (W reg) with the Pro-drive Driving enhancement package for £13K. Miles are up a bit at 30K but it seemed such a bargain - it cost nearly £27K 15 months ago and has just had the major service.
I checked out what my car was 'really' worth by ringing up a 'Subaru Wanted' trade advert in Autocar and asking what they would give me for it. The price I agreed to buy it for was £250 more than they offered to buy it in for.
Hopefully you may be able to sell yours privately for around £16500 - but I have seen a UK WRX in Exchange and Mart at this price for 2 weeks and it is ssemingly still for sale - whats the matter with people !!
Good luck
Andy
