I cant find the link to that place that sells the exhaust wrap?

Is it ok to wrap the standard headers after porting?

Don't wrap the standard headers as they are cast iron not stainless steel, if you want cheap heat wrap that withstands 1200degrees have a look at www.raldes.co.uk.

Have just had good service from www.proven-products.co.uk

They supplied me with some Cooltek Exhaust wrap and metal ties. Their prices seem reasonable too

ThinkAuto www.thinkauto.com, buy it per meter (50mm width) and postage isn't isn't taking the ****.....

Whats the effect of wrapping the standard headers?

Are we talking expansion/contraction problems?

Or is it down to water splash on them, making them crack/shatter?
