Default Timing Belt replacement

Although I have only clocked up 43,000km's on my modified MY99,it is time to replace the timing belt.
Is there any sense in up grading the belt to accomodate the extra horses or is the standard belt adequate for 300+ bhp ?

The standard belt will be fine as the stresses it takes won't have changed a great deal. (unless you have a lightened everything flywheel, pulleys etc and regularly rev the engine up and down at standstill )

Agree with LB4. Just had mine done by Sccoby dealer on my Stiv3 hill climber, used a stock UK tubo part as many others do!
